and 2 creative chicks (buttons brads or bows)

i used all cuttlebug on this. i think my cricut is scowling ;)

my post is going to be a tad long, hope ya dont get bored with me ;)
for my first project i made a card. i didnt add a sentiment but this could be a birthday card, a get well card with a gift mug of honey, tea ,cinnamon cough drops whatever is needed :) inside it could just say i love you  the jar set is so versatile. i love that.

i colored in the jars with distress ink. there are 2 labels that come in this set , i used them both for layering.then added some twine. ill add some little heart tags later when i decide what im doing with it.
the flowers are from my cricut and doodlecharms cartridge and the bees are cuttlebug.
i recklessly colored them in with a distress pen and a sharpie. ;) im such a sloppy crafter ;)

for my next project i made a little giftie for my sister in law who collects kitchen strawberry stuff.
i chicken scratched the word freezer jam on the tab but the other sayings, the jar and the berries are all on the love in a jar set. plus other sayings and images.
 sweet huh :)
i made her some strawberry jam :)
heres the recipe. actually this isnt on the back as i made an error and wasnt thinking and i took a new pic obviously the wrong one ..so its the exact recipe just without the error /pencil scratch :)

and the cherries

happy saturday! welcome and thank you so much for visiting the my cricut craftroom 100 cartridge blog hop!!! the entire team and guest designers are using over 100 different cricut cartridges (collectively)  hope you're having a great time i know for sure you're getting some terrific inspiration. the rest of the dt have created some awesome  projects havent they!

im entering these over at dlart for dianas linky party be sure to stop on by her blog!
i made a couple of cards and a back to school box using 7 cartridges.

for this i used walk in my garden for the flower pot 2~1/4 inches and daisies 1~1/2 and 1~3/4) accent essentials  was used for the purple flower (accent 10shift )cutting 2 each in a dark purple and a lighter purple 1~3/4, 1~1/2, 1~1/4 and 3/4 inches. the branches are from storybook (letter H shift)1~3/4 inches)
i added some button bees and memory thread for the  sprigs.

the sentiment is from cardztv stamp set "simply said"
here's the inside
i used a leaf and a negative from a marquee cut from a different project, i don't throw anything away!

i made this card for my stepdad

i used george for this.
the heart and star were cut at 1~1/2 inches
for the banners i used tag2 (letter L shift) two at 2~1/4 and two at 2~1/2

i roughly hand drew and colored  the letters i wanted to keep the sort of rustic look i wasn't aiming for perfection here. i finished off with twine and buttons.

and here's another. thanks for being so patient :)

i used baby steps for this sweet baby boy card

the boat ,duck and star were cut at either 1 OR 1~1/4 inch. i adhered them to 1~1/2 inch panels.

baby and  boy were cut at 1 inch. i inked everything up and finished with a couple of buttons and stamped the word sweet.

this card i actually cased from myself from awhile ago. one of my old daycare girls loved it so i decided to remake it for her.  i used indie art for the ice cream cone cut at 4 inches
i used jasmine cartridge for the corners (rectangle shift blackout) i believe i cut them at 3 and also 3~1/4  inches and layered them. the ones around the cone frame were cut at 4 inches.

and heres the back to school box. inside ive added the tiny ruler and a box of crayons .
i cut the box 2 times at 5 inches. then blue cardstock, using the box/shift key, at 5 inches twice. then cut the patterned paper once at 4 3/4 inches. assembled the box then adhered the blue to the front and back.then adhered the patterned paper atop that.elmo was cut at 4 inches. i used thin pop dots under him

the word school was cut at 1 inch. once in black for a shadow effect.
the word box was cut from the word lunchbox  at 1~1/4 inch (abby3 word) i just cut off the word lunch.again i cut in black for a shadow. the numbers were cut at 3/4 inches.

i hope ive inspired you to get out those cartridges and play :)

thanks so much for stopping by my blog your sweet words make me smile thank you for that too:)
have fun on the hop!!!
be sure to stop on by amandas  and show her some blog luvin :)

festive friday with my cricut craft room

happy friday! todays theme at my cricut craft room is "daughter's stuff" i thought id make a couple of fun tag/bookmarks for my daughter. she has embarked on a new journey in life and has started massage therapy school YAY! well, shes been a stay at home chicka for the past year and i know shes going to miss her kittys and her shoes. ( shes not a tennis shoe kind of girl and has to wear scrubs and t/shoes for the next 8 months, poor thing lol) so......i saw these cute cuts and even tho my daughter is 31 she still likes cutesy things sometimes :)

i used cricut cartridge meow for these adorable tags.each was cut at 4 inches and the images were     both cut at 3 inches.
i added stickles for the top kittys eyes and tiny rhinestones for the kitty in boot eyes.

super simple but adorbs eh!?
