i took 4 tubes and added popcorn kernels to one tube, homemade hot chocolate mix to another, itsy bitzy marshmallows ( found at walmart )  to another and then crushed up some  peppermint candies to another.
i just wrapped a piece of burlap around them and added a bit of ribbon both secured with double sided sticky tape
i frou~froud up the top with some christmasy stuffs

and cut out a little mitten for a tag and added a bell  the sentiment is from "the very merry" stamp set . i used a cute tiny clothespin to hang the tag.

i used a cuttlebug folder for the back matting then a random stamp for the swirl

i inked this mat  up a bit in white and brown and added a pearl and the sentiment which is from the "very merry" set

some lace flowers and twine to finish it off.

my 3rd project
a little beary cute home decor setup using pinecone trees. for the bases i covered hairspray lids with paper. used a glue gun and made swirly designs on the one on the left , and used a metallic paint on it then  filled them  with moss then hot glued the cones on top

i added epson salt mixed with chunky glitter for the frost and used red viva decor pearl pens and jewelry making pearls for the bling

the cute lil bear was a gift from my daughter years ago.
i used a sentiment from "christmas critter captions"

and for my last project, another card

christmas fun with cardztv

happy thursday! today im hosting for cardz tv gallery where you can find awesome, creative and fun projects from a different designer every day (except sundays)  using stamps from cardztv . today im showing you 5 projects ive made.

the first one is a snowman scene in a jar
i made a snowman out of two little glittered styrofoam balls, some twine for a scarf ,little twigs for his arms and an orange broken toothpick for his nose and viva decor pearl pen for eyes and mouth. i made the tree out of craft picks that i colored with distress markers. i hung a wooden star with twine from the  underside of the jar lid (attached with a glue dot). i used epsom salt and glitter and some pearls for the snow and little snowballs.. i used 3 unfinished wood circles for the word joy. i glued them onto a piece of popsicle stick then hid that with the snow.
i used a hatpin for the heart atop the tree. and then glued punched snowflakes to the outside of the jar

for the lid i adhered a paper doily to the inside part of the lid then used a stamp from the "very merry" set. i also used martha stewart punch branches and viva decor pearl pen . i added some lace and pinecones around the ring of the jar.

for my next project i made a tree out of corks
i used bic mark~its to color the corks i hot glued them all together, the base of the tree is also a cork. i hot glued this to a round coaster.   i just used my glue gun and tossed the glitter onto that while it was hot for the snow/frost

the decorations are brads. they easily push right in the cork.

i glued some moss onto the coaster and added a few pebbles and pinecones to hide the coaster. i  plopped on some hot glue then used epsom salt and chunky glitter again for the snow

for the gift card or tea bag or little candy holder (i havent decided what im adding to this yet) i just frou froud up a little envelope with glitter  and punched branch. for the berries i used a viva decor pearl pen. the sentiment is from the "very merry" stamp  set

my next project is a simple  card
i used a memory box wreath stamp
i added some pearls, twine and  punched snowflakes
the stamp is from the "very merry" set

for my next project i made a reindeer gift set
i used clothespins for the reindeer. added some felt googly eyes and a pompom nose. i also glued a hanger onto the back ,you jut cant see, that way he can be an oranment if wanted.  homely lil guy eh ;) lol i thought this would be cute for that little santas helper that maybe helped trim the tree, helped ya bake cookies or wrapped presents

just tuck a gift card inside.  i stamped on some snowflakes and frosted the bag then i added a bell  i put a glue dot under the button keep the envelope closed. the sentiment is from the "very merry" set

my last project i made were some quicky faux candles
these are very easy to do. i painted a toilet paper roll tossed on some glitter. then i used my glue gun to make the"wax" added some battery operated tea lights. thats it. they fit right inside i did put some tissue paper into the rolls just in case the lights decide to sink in.

heres a little upclose shot. i didnt use any stamp on this as theyre going in my bathrooms ( i made a few more than just these 2) instead of  gifting them.

here is the fun "very merry"  stamp set i used. you can purchase that from mary  right here <~

thank you so much for stopping by my blog youre sweet words always make me smile  and encourage me:)  have a great rest of day or evening ! happy crafting :)

it's all about christmas

happy wednesday! today is my turn to host at the cardz tv gallery . i'm sure you've been having a blast checking out all the top awesome projects my dt sisters have been showing ya! it's just a couple of days until thanksgiving and before we know it christmas will be here. so i decided to show you a couple of christmas things i've made. all  the stamps i used are from mary's cardztv stamps and can be purchased ~> right here <~  you're welcome in advance ;)

for my 1st project

i made a tag or ornament.
i took a round coaster and added some lace and punched piece of paper
the snowflake is cuttlebug cut and emboss. i added a pearl to the center and added some glitter stickles, some pompoms and ribbon.
i used this sentiment from the "very merry" set.

for my next project i made a christmas card
i'm sure i saw something similar while browsing pinterest. i hand cut some triangles and tree trunks from cardboard then wrapped in twine added some buttons and pearls, handcut some snow hills and stamped with snowflakes and inked it up a tad.

the sentiment is from the "very merry" set also

my next project are also cards
i used my fave line of prima stamps. jack and jill.
i just think these two are the cutest :) this is the first time using the christmas ones
i made 2 cards with them just different colors.
the one on the left i used the utee cracked glass effect and the one on the right i used utee but only layer of it.

heres the cracked glass effect. i love the old worn look and the colors i used really went well for the style. i added some snowflakes with pearl centers. i used my viva decor pearl pens.

heres the other card
i used swiss dots embossing folder for the matting and some snowflake stickers and added rhinestones

i used the same sentiment on both cards using the "very merry" set

for my next project i made a cookie box using a 12X12 piece of cardstock. here's a tutorial i found
i added a goofy looking  ornament i made. i just drew out a gingerbread man onto thin cardboard and then in self adhesive cork (tim holtz). i inked him up til he looked baked, sprayed with my spray adhesive and "sugared" him in chunky  glitter. i then used some twine around him added buttons and  using viva decor pearl pens added eyes nose and mouth

i used "very merry" set on unfinished wood stars. i inked them up a tad.

for my last project i made a very easy little treat holder. i found this easy to follow  tutorial
i think these would look cute sitting on a plate maybe adding the guests name on a little tag attached under the bells

i used a little hole punch , tied some bells with hemp twine and tied in the back.

i used a martha punch for the sprigs and added ice crystals (epson salt) and  berries using viva decor pearl pen
i  used "going in circles" for the sentiment and heart.

thank you oodles for the blog visit, your esweet words always make me smile, thank you for that too!
i hope ive given ya some fun christmas themed inspiration :)
happy crafting and have a blessed thanksgiving! xxxshelly

my favorite season cardztv gallery

happy wednesday :) my favorite time of the year, autumn is here YES! i hope you've been enjoying our projects over at the cardztv gallery . it sure is a lot of fun creating and using mary's awesome fun stamps. for today i made 4 projects i hope at least one will give you some inspiration :)

my first project i made is a wreath

i used an old sizzix embossing folder for the scarecrow. i just embossed him onto cardstock then cut him out and colored in. the leaves are cuttlebug. the pumpkins are just round unfinished wood circles that i colored broke a craft pick and used that for the stems. added buttons and a birdhouse some beads and dried floral stuff i have in my house. i also made a little ribbon flower out of crinkle ribbon. i got this from 3 girls jam
i used this cute lil sentiment from the set "country at heart"

for my next project i altered a lunch sack
i punched along the top with a martha punch , the leaves are cuttlebug i used felt for these. added some ribbons and a couple little things. easy peasy but i think sweet. i havent added anything inside yet but will come up with a baked goodie when the time comes for me to use it. i used "happy days" for this sentiment.

my next project is an altered mini pringles can
i took off the outer paper and then  first covered it in some mulberry paper. you could use tissue paper or just ink or paint this instead. do whatever your creative mind tells ya to ;) i then covered that in some fall paper, tore it and bent it so the mulberry paper showed through. i added some lace ribbon to the top and bottom. then i added some dried floral stuff, leaves i cut from felt using my cuttlebug and some pins. the cute angle one i purchased from pinque peacock .sorry i didnt get an upclose of that, but i already gave this to a friend so i can't ask for it back ;) i think if you ckick on the picture it makes it huge so you should be able to make it out better. anyway.....
for the fun sentiment i used "brew ha ha "

and for my last project for today....
i altered a burlap sack.

again for the pumpkins i just colored in some unfinished wood then broke some craft picks for the stems and added some bendable covered wirey stuff. geesh i forget what this is called.. i hate that! lol i found it by the cross stitching stuff at hobby lobby. i added some cute lil flower pins. the leaves are leftovers from my cricut. i filled it up with some candy pumpkins and pumpkin seeds. YUM!

thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and thank you for your sweet comments they always make me smile! happy crafting and have a super rest of day or night! xxxshelly
